ELPHIE'S FUNDRAISER FOR EUROPE TRIP

Hi, this is Elphie! My husband, Joel, and I would like to travel Europe together for our first time ever, and we'd like your help. This trip will be for our 3yr marriage anniversary! I'm legally disabled and therefore make a very minimal income per month that barely covers my bills. I created this fundraiser to help cover the cost of taking this anniversary trip. As a thank you for donating I will send you my own hand-made pieces of art. I'm not the best artist, but there are two pieces of art I am decent with, and would love to share with you. Your contributions toward my trip will also be supporting my mental illness wellness, in that it’ll help flourish my creative flow and passion for cultures. WOW!!! I am completely overwhelmed and humbled at the love and support you have all shown! As of today (3/29/18) we have reached our $1000 goal!!!! *happy dance!* I have purchased most of my airfare, train tickets, bus tickets, and housing thanks to your contributions! I've never been one to accept gifts easily, my prideful brain always thinking, "I got this, there's others who probably need/deserve your gifts more", but a friend offered some great advice, "Friends and family love you, and want to be a part of the great experiences of your life. Give them a chance to let them decide how they'd like to go about that". So, I did. And wow, am I crazy humbled and honored! Also, the art gifts I've been able to make for y'all have really boosted my creative side, a side I felt I'd possibly lost forever due to depression. So, thank you all so much for your love and support... throughout my life, my marriage, and our soon to be EUROPE TRIP!! I am going to keep this page open, and continue to update, for any added donations anyone would still like to contribute. We're at a good place financially, but any further donations will go towards packing supplies, and food overseas, and any potential emergencies. Again, THANK YOU all soooooo much! You're the BEST!
